Over the last decade, I have led more than 100 evaluations of international development programs across 25+ countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Middle East. This work has supported more than 70 governmental and non-governmental organizations around the world.
Although my experience is largely in food and water security, I have evaluated projects focused on conflict mitigation, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, tourism development, teacher training, and smartphone applications.

Previous Experience: Selected Projects
Millennium Challenge Corporation: Climate Resilient Agriculture Activity
Research Manager
Through its five-year, $437 million compact with the Government of Niger, MCC aimed to increase rural incomes by improving the sustainable productive use of natural resources for agricultural production and market access. As the evaluation's research manager, I oversaw a $3.6 million budget and a team of 10 researchers, leading the independent evaluation of the Climate Resilient Agriculture Activity. Responsibilities included client management and communication, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables, as well as technical support for quantitative and qualitative data collection aimed at strengthening farmer and agro-pastoralist resiliency to adverse climate impacts.
USAID/Madagascar: Integrated Natural Resources Management
Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
USAID/Madagascar contracted the Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM) field support mechanism to conduct baseline household surveys and environmental monitoring as a benchmark for the Mission's future activities under the Health, Ecosystems and Agriculture for Resilient, Thriving Societies (HEARTH) program. HEARTH operates under the Conservation and Communities Project (CCP), which aims to help conserve biodiversity, promote resilient livelihoods that provide alternatives to unsustainable natural resource management practices, and take concrete actions to secure effective local ownership and management of natural resources. As the project manager for this series of evaluations, I oversaw household baseline data collection for activities and geospatial/biophysical analysis for two USAID-funded activities. Responsibilities included quantitative survey design, data collection firm management, data quality assurance, data analysis, and report writing.
USAID: Integrated Natural Resources Management
Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
Between 2016 and 2018, USAID/Democratic Republic of the Congo launched three five-year activities to promote security, conservation, and development across the Mbomou-Uele region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Central African Republic. These activities, including the Community Resilience in the Central Africa Activity, Garamba Chinko Protected Areas Activity, and Community-based Counter Wildlife Trafficking Activity, operate under a common conceptual Joint Results Framework. The Integrated Natural Resource Management team conducted an independent performance evaluation of these activities as well as an assessment of the Joint Results Framework. As the project manager for this evaluation, I supported a complex field mission across the DRC and CAR, implemented data quality assurance measures throughout data collection and analysis, and assisted in writing the final evaluation report.
USAID/Timor-Leste: Tourism for All
Project Manager
USAID/Timor-Leste contracted Chemonics International to implement the Timor-Leste Tourism for All (TFA) Project from 2018-2022. The TFA aims to support the competitiveness of tourism in Timor-Leste while ensuring that tourism development is inclusive, sustainable, and preserves natural resources and cultural heritage. Social Impact conducted an independent performance evaluation of this activity. As the evaluation's project manager, I oversaw a team of nine researchers and support staff. Responsibilities included client management, technical support for evaluation design, and oversight of remote data collection.
USAID/Jordan: Advancing Agricultural Markets in Syria
Project Manager
USAID/Jordan's Advancing Agricultural Markets in Syria was a three-year activity that aimed to improve livelihoods for smallholder producers and processors in non-regime held areas. The activity was designed to facilitate the formation of producer and processor groups to provide technical assistance and financial support and encourage the standardization and bundling of improved-quality outputs to support access to wider sales channels and opportunities. Social Impact conducted an independent performance evaluation of this activity. As the project manager, I was responsible for client management, oversight and technical support for evaluation design, management of quantitative data collection, and supporting the evaluation team with data analysis and reporting.
Feed the Future: Innovations for Development of Smallholder Female Livestock Cooperatives
Research Assistant
Supported research examining the impact of innovations on smallholder livestock cooperatives in Nepal, with a focus on female participation and economic outcomes. This multi-year project contributed to understanding how cooperative structures affect both inclusivity and performance in agricultural settings.
P4H Global: Haiti In-School Professional Development Program
Research Director
Led research and evaluation activities for an in-school professional development program in Haiti, assessing the effectiveness of teacher training interventions and their impact on educational outcomes.
